A poem - 6 months since Lennox - Gone never forgotten
In Memory of Lennox
Gone but Never Forgotten
Stolen not Taken!!
Not euthanized but Murdered!!
Well it was 6 months today that Lennox was killed
We are still waiting for the truth to be spilled
Did he die sooner what is the truth
Belfast City Council are still on the loose
Someone has to pay for this massive crime
We will all wait until someone serves the time
The liers and the cheats we can not forget
We hated where he was and how he was tret
We will continue to shout and to hollar
what the hell you even kept his collar
You can hide behind doors and close the blinds too
But we promise you now - we are watching you
The blood has only dried on your hands
But has time goes on the following will expand
So why did you do it - what did you have to proove
You didnt gain anything and you still got alot to loose
There will be a point when someone stands and speaks
they will grow some balls we will wait years months or weeks
But the public is still angry that this still had to happen
We even had Sinista who did his own Rappin
We woke the world up to so much
about the Bsl laws, the deceipt and mistrust
The petitions got together and thousands signed too
We all wanted to do something but we just couldnt save you
We have so many people trying to end bsl
But Belfast City Council can go to hell
The Society will stand together strong
To stop this happening again - just so damn wrong
Lennox belonged to the Barnes's who told us of the story
but no help by parliment or any tory!!
We wrote email and called everyone
and that even included from The Queen to The Sun
But it was not meant to be they had decided
They had dug their feet to deep and they sat and confided
They must have paid people off to shut them all up
I dont believe none had a conscience, not even fell for Lennox love
But the public is still here and today we will remember
this will continue from 1st of january to the 31st of December
If you think that time will forget and time will heal
It will never rest until your in court even if it means an appeal
Lennox never forget we are so sorry we feel we let you down
But up there as you watch over we are sure you wear a crown
As one day soon the truth will be out and we will get together
To stop this happening again to a family dog and we mean never
So come on Lennox as you watch over please guide us
as we want to catch up with them on the Karma bus
So send our love to lennox up in the sky
and watch over all of us as we have a cry
But love to the Barnes Family and to all of you
But lets keep doing what we got to do
